Medical Aid to Sri Lanka is a registered charity aiming to help improve medical facilities in Sri Lanka. Started in 1995, we have donated over £200000 worth of equipment and medical supplies to various government health institutions and have also supported training of health workers.

 

Our current projects include:

- Cataract surgery - restoring sight to one eye costs just £27

- Artifical limb project - £85 will provide a new limb

- Medical equipment and support for Senehasa Home for children with learning difficulties

- Cancer diagnostic equipment (microtome) for the Pathology department, University of Colombo
