Medical Aid To Sri Lanka

Registered Charity No. 1080513

Medical Aid to Sri Lanka is a registered charity aiming to help improve medical facilities in Sri Lanka. Started in 1995, we have donated a range of equipment and medical supplies to various government health institutions and have also supported training of health workers.

Over 99% of the money donated goes towards funding our projects. All officers work on a voluntary basis.

Our major Cataract surgery project is run with the support of the local volunteer eye specialists . So far we have helped over 800 blind or partially blind patients to see again.

Another of our projects was contributing funds for an urgently needed Mammography machine for the Cancer Hospital, Maharagama. This machine caters for the outpatient clinics, leading to early detection of breast cancer.

Please use the menu to find out more about our projects and how you can support us.
